It has been brought to our attention that Paramount Bank International through its website https://prbi.sbs/index.html is purporting to be a licensed international banking provider of the following banking services:
• Corporate Banking
• Individual Banking
• Trust and Foundation Banking
The FSRC – Nevis Branch can confirm that Paramount Bank International has never been licenced in the island of Nevis as per the provisions of the Nevis International Banking Ordinance, Cap 7.05. Additionally, no international banking licence application has ever been submitted or received for and on behalf Paramount Bank International.
Members of the public are therefore advised to exercise caution if solicited by Paramount Bank International to conduct/engage in international banking business.
This advisory is being made pursuant to Section 40 of the Financial Services Regulatory Commission Act, Cap 21.10 and section 35 of the Nevis International Banking Ordinance, Cap 7.05.
