The Governor General, His Excellency Sir Tapley Seaton declared a State of Emergency for St. Kitts and Nevis, which took effect on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at 7:00pm. It will remain in place for 14 days.

The State of Emergency restricts the freedom of movement of all citizens and residents and all persons are required to remain at home in order to contain and control the COVID-19 virus. The FSRC – Nevis Branch office will remain closed during the State of Emergency. For guidance on our operating procedures during this period, regulated entities should refer to the FSRC – Nevis Branch Updated Notice on COVID-19: Implementation of Preventive Measures – 27th March 2020.

Residents are therefore reminded to stay at home, practice social and physical distancing protocols and adhere to the Emergency Powers (COVID-19) Regulations, 2020.

Thank you for your understanding.
