Charlestown, Nevis, West Indies – 7 July 2017 – The Financial Services Regulatory Commission, Nevis Branch has recently been made aware that Norgate Insurance Group Ltd has been making representation as a general insurer offering various insurance products from within Nevis.
The public is hereby informed that Norgate Insurance Group Ltd is not currently licensed under the Nevis International Insurance Ordinance Cap 7.07 (NIIO) and therefore is not in good standing as per the NIIO. Norgate Insurance Group Ltd is in contravention of the NIIO and is not allowed to carry on insurance business in or from within the Jurisdiction.
