The Financial Services Regulatory Commission – Nevis Branch’s (FSRC – Nevis Branch) attention has recently been drawn to a reproduction of a Certificate of Good Standing in the name of Blue Ocean Holdings Ltd. which purports to have been issued by the Registrar of Corporations on the 2nd day of August 2021.
The FSRC – Nevis Branch can confirm that no Certificate of Good Standing was issued by the Registrar in the name of Blue Ocean Holdings Ltd. Additionally, in accordance with Section 119(1) of the Nevis Business Corporation Ordinance 2017, Blue Ocean Holdings Ltd was removed from the register of corporations on the 7th day of August 2020 for failure to pay its annual renewal fee.
Members of the public are therefore advised to exercise extreme caution if presented with the above mentioned fake document bearing the name of Blue Ocean Holdings Ltd.
The public is encouraged to provide the FSRC – Nevis Branch with any information on any improper activities which entities registered in Nevis are purportedly involved in.
